I don't think it's at all unusual that there's no rear naked choke. The rear naked as we see it today is a blood choke, so it's meant to put someone out without crushing his trachea. I've wanted to look at the Saracen Archery book that guy in Europe (Germany? Not sure) learned from and can shoot three arrows very quickly--but it costs like 500 bucks....

....So I'll take a look at what was on the link because there's no way I can afford that.

How would having an entire second count for doubles change epee? Would people be able to make clean hits? To the head/torso? I've often wondered this. I think it was the Knights Melee guys who suggested a cross-step to draw the attack and effect the zwerch. Now, that's not the way Von Danzig says to step, but it does have some utility.
