Is that a Dave Baker sabre?

It isn't, though Dave is a good friend of mine and I have... 5 other blades by him including a smallsword. :)

I purchased this years ago... I believe it was an old Paul Chen blade which was re-hilted, and I had rayskin added to it. It's held up REALLY well during some major stage combat work, but is quite hefty at around 3lbs. It sings when contact is made. Really happy with it though.

!

I thought it was a sharp, but the fact it isn't makes me like it more.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I think I've owned this one for around 4 or 5 years. Something like that, anyway.

I have some old Starfires I picked up and used around '95 or '96 that are like car-bumpers. How things have changed...

Welcome!

Please take advantage of our insurance, and if you would like, affiliate your club as well. We'll try to continually get more perks for members.

Now, membership cards. We do not have them at this time. Yes, they are on the list of things to do and something we know members want. We have some designs already, and are on the market for places that can print quality cards (not just little paper ones lest we have to) and get them to our membership. If anyone is already using such a service, PM me. If anyone has already done something similar, also PM me. I'm shy on labor and the all-volunteer HEMAA can use you if we know your talents!

Once again,
Thanks for joining!

If someone could confirm his membership, they could mark him as a member on the forum...

Finally broke down and spent the fifty bucks to be a member after blowing it off for some years. The HEMA Alliance saved me from ARMA. I've been using the forums and resources here for a while, I figure it's time to join up. Thanks guys!
