Segno Question

I don't believe I've ever gone over just what exactly is a "cover" in the Segno. We went over the entire Segno, but I don't remember exactly what happened on that portion. Any help...

A cover is a generic term for a defensive action. If I tell you to cover, then you'll assume that guard in an aggressive and offensive manner, in order to stifle a strike before following up with your counterstrike.
