I certainly hope so.

Mr. Layout says he'll work for me. I need to do some labor to get the files ready for him.

Proof on the way. A proof is a physical copy of the book to look over.

Getting close then, congrats!

I think 2015 is going to see an explosion of HEMA Books coming out :)

The Polish Saber
After two years in the making it's finally out! The book covers the history, context, anecdotes and sources for Polish saber as well as an interpretation and re-construction of its use. The book includes translations by Daria Izdebska, Piermarco Terminello and Joshua Pendragon, Carlo Parisi, Kevin Mauer, Keith Myers and Reinier van Noort. Art was provided by Ksenia Kozhevnikova and Marianna Lopez. Michael Chidester physically went down to a museum to take photos! Photography of techniques were provided by Jessica Macarelli, the Phoenix Society members, Jerzy Miklaszewski, RJ McKeehan, Jake Norwood and Lee Smith. Sources include, 17th-18th century Polish accounts, as well as Starzewski's 19th century interpretation, 16th and 17th century Italian and German treatises that lend themselves to rediscovering Polish saber and more! Lovingly edited by Keith Farrell and Cara Patterson with layout design by Henry Snider. Thanks to John Patterson for all the assistance on the project.

250 pages, hard back, 8x11 in full-color, it is meant to be a fine display piece.

The book should also pop in various US/Uk/European online retailers over time.

Hello Mr Marsden,
Nice cover. I recognize that saber. It was made by Andrzej Mikiciak. Could You post some pictures of that beauty?
I also want to say that, as a Pole, I feel honored by Your work.

Andrzej provided the picture and we altered it! The saber was sold long ago or I'd be sleeping with it.

Thanks for your support. This, I hope, will bring Polish culture and swordsmanship to an English speaking audience!
